Register Features

After running the AdvisoryLocks_initialize.sql, start Bentley GeoSpatialAdministrator and open the schema for the current project. Go to Graphical Sources>Oracle Spatial Connection and right click on the project connection. Select Register Features:

Enter the password for the Database Login and click OK:

Click Yes to the Found Registered Features dialog:

In the resulting dialog, notice the AdvisoryBoundary feature will show at the top in black because it is not yet registered. Check this box and click Next:

In the resulting Specifiy Feature Type page of the Register Features dialog, the ADVISORYBOUNDARY feature will show as a ‘Polygon Collection’ type. This must be changed to a ‘Polygon’ type. Do this by clicking on the dropdown arrow on the Type field and highlight Polygon and click on it. Click Next after Polygon Collection has been changed to Polygon:

On the ‘Feature Names’ page: Click Next

On the ‘Specify Composite Surface Features’ page: Click Next

On the ‘Point Geometry Rotation and Scale’ page: Click Next

On the ‘Point Geometry Text’ page: Click Next

On the ‘Domains Registration’ page: Click Next

On the ‘ID Generators’ page, the ADVISORYBOUNDARY feature and the ADVISORYGROUP feature will need to have the Generator Name set to the correct sequence value. Go to the dropdown arrow in the bottom ‘Generator’ field, and look for the PROJECTNAME_ADVISORY_SEQ generator key and highlight it. After clicking Add to get a final window that looks like this, click Next:

On the ‘Confirm Feature Registration’ page: Click Finish. After Register Features closes, Save the Schema and go to the Macro Section under the Workspace section.
