The Device Assignment command is used to associate racks to a building or headend feature located on the map.

Assign Racks to a Building/Headend

1. Place a fence around the racks that will be associated.

   

2. From the Placement section of the ISP Tab, click the Device Assignment command:

   

3. Select a building or a HeadEnd on the map to be associated with the racks inside the fence.
   Note: The number of rack updated displays in the information section at the bottom of MicroStation window.

   

   After we associate, the below info dialog box appears. (Post newly assigned racks before making outside plant connections.)
