To disconnect any connected device from an upstream device (or output from a device), use the Disconnect command:

The Disconnect command can be used to disconnect any Coax device from an immediate upstream (Previous) or downstream (Outputs) device. (See dialog box below). Check either one or both boxes on the Disconnect dialog, depending on whether you want to completely disconnect the device from upstream and downstream devices, or just disconnect it from one side:

When disconnecting a device which also contains a power port (i.e. Amplifiers, Taps, Power Inserters, or Power Splitters), there will be a 3rd checkbox option-Power Port. (See dialog box below). This option gives the user the ability to also disconnect any or all outputs from the device.
