Enter Cable Specifications:

1. From the spec menu, select Devices > Cable > New Series.
2. The New Cable Series dialog box opens.

   

3. Enter a Series Name and Mfg., manufacturer.
   Note: Maximum of 10 series with a maximum of 20 models each.
4. Select Add when completed.
5. The Cable Attributes dialog box opens.

   

6. Enter a model Name up to 25 alphanumeric characters, Cost, Part # and loop resistance in Ohms. The units of measure for the cost are per unit and the loop resistance is in ohms per 1000 units.
7. Enter the cable diameter, Dia, if it is being used for linking to duct.
   Note: If the Duct Management module is used, the cable diameter must be scaled to be placed into the conduit model.
8. Enter the Cable Loss values in loss per 100 units.
9. Enter a Manufacturer, Model and Cost for the Connector.
10. Select a Color, a Style and a Weight.
11. Click Add to save a new entry or Update to update an existing cable.
12. To define other cables, select New/Edit > New Model.
