Bentley Coax allows you to copy series of devices from an existing equipment file into an active (open) equipment file. This is helpful when creating an equipment file with similar devices.

Copy a Series of Devices into an Open Equipment File

1. Select File > Copy From [equipment name] from the spec file menu.

   

2. The Copy From menu opens.

   

3. Select Copy > [device] from the Equipment Menu that opened.

   

4. Select the series of the particular device that was selected.

   At this point, a Series Copied message displays. indicating that the selected series is included in the original equipment file.

5. Select OK and Done when completed. The series can now be edited.
