For OpenCities Map to work with Chinese (or other foreign languages), modifications may have to be made in the Windows Regional and Language Options.

Changing the language settings does not change the language of Windows menus and dialogs, but it does allow you to display and enter text in other languages. Some languages (typically Asian languages) will not appear correctly in OpenCities Map unless the default language matches the language of the Map data.
