How Can I Determine What my Features Are?
In practice, Bentley Map works with all features in the same way. Sometimes it is helpful to know how features are registered by Bentley Map. The Attribute Masking tool can be used to dynamically change the color of selected features to show their feature type.

Any graphic that is recognized as a Bentley Map feature. In practice, most graphic elements are recognized as features. |
Non-Features |
Any graphic that is not recognized as a Bentley Map feature. Since Bentley Map assigns most graphics to some kind of feature class, the only features likely to be highlighted here are those not directly supported such as dimension elements or certain 3D surface types. |
Legacy Features |
GeoGraphics features that have been recognized based on DFS rules created when the project was imported. |

Simple geometry that have been assigned a feature class based on DFS rules |
