GIS data can often have a property that specifies the elevation for each feature. That property can be selected in the Elevation field found in the Feature Properties pane.

Expressions can be added to the Elevation field. For example, if the value of the property was specified as feet, it could be converted to meters by multiplying by 0.3048.
