Errors

When errors in project data are reported, the
Description field typically indicates an action
must be taken to resolve the error: Value
must be specified. An unresolved error can be severe enough to cause a
calculation to issue a failure report.
In this example, double clicking on the error opens the Room
Type Manager, selects the room type listed in the Notifications panel Object
column, and highlights the property listed in the Notifications panel Field
column. You can set the value to resolve the notification error.
The
Occupancy Schedule value can be set to resolve the error.

Warnings

When warnings in project data are reported, the
Description field typically indicates an action
should be taken to resolve the warning:
Value should be specified. An unresolved warning can result in incomplete
calculation or simulation results.
In this example, double clicking on the warning opens the
Room Type Manager, selects the room type listed in the Notifications panel
Object column, and highlights the property listed in the Notifications panel
Field column. You can set the value to resolve the notification warning.
The Winter
Schedule value can be set to resolve the warning.

Message

When messages in project data are reported, the
Description field typically indicates an action
should be taken to resolve the message:
Value should be specified. An unresolved message can result in incomplete
calculation or simulation results, but is generally not severe.
In this example, double clicking on the message opens the
Properties dialog populated with properties of the
OpenBuildings Energy Simulator Project Tree item listed in
the Notifications panel Object column, and selects but does not highlight the
property listed in the Notifications panel Field column. You can set the value
to resolve the notification message.
The Mains
Water temperature schedule can be set to resolve the message.

values for a specific object property in addition to the incorrectly entered
value.
Error description indicates the entered value
