Architectural Walls

Architectural Walls are solid 3D linear components which by default, are defined by a rectangular cross section (height and width) and length. They are typically placed on horizontal planes (floors). Their top surfaces can optionally be extended to follow the contours of ceilings or roof surfaces. They can be penetrated by windows and doors (cells) or by closed shapes (polygons). Walls also have material properties and centerlines which affect how they appear in drawings. During placement, walls follow a path or baseline that you draw. You can choose to place a wall along its centerline, along its inside/outside edge, or by offsetting it a certain distance from the placement data points. Use Wall placement tools to place linear, arc, curve and compound walls, build new walls onto existing walls, and place profile derived forms.
