The Space Planning is comprised of seven basic Architectural discipline tools which you use to manage space planning activities. You can create spaces of desired shape and area, assign labels and types to each space, edit their properties, work on space legend and select spaces and validate area for analysis and planning.

Use the Spaces tools for space planning activities. A Space is an area in a model that is defined by an enclosure such as a shape, and is identified by a name and/or number. Spaces identify areas in a model such as offices, closets, and storage areas. They can overlap to contain an area of multiple spaces.
