Plumbing Systems

The Plumbing Systems ribbon contains placement tools associated with the Plumbing discipline.



Besides basic Plumbing Systems components, the Plumbing discipline also caters sub grouped disciplines each for plumbing Plant Equipment, Fire protection and LPG.

The following tool groups allow placing individual Plumbing System component, fitting, and devices in your design. The workflow adopts the Unified Placement interface where shape, types and variances of the selected group are selectable before placing.

  • (Pipe) — Rigid and Flexible pipe components of plumbing discipline aid piping layout.
  • (Pipe Accessory) — Pipe accessory caters plumbing fittings used at diversion and transitions of pipe sections include elbows, tees, wyes, flanges and caps, as well as pipe connectors that include couplings, unions, sockets and nuts.
  • (Valve) — A range of plumbing and LPG valves are provided to serve for flow control mechanism in piping. They are utilized in different context including air separator, flow switches, strainers, pressure gauge and dosing pots.
  • (Pump) — Pumps in plumbing system work by using mechanical forces to push the water by the force of compression.
  • (Fixture) — Plumbing fixtures are devices that are part of a system to deliver and drain away water, but they are also configured to enable a particular use.
  • (Drains & Basins) — Drainage and basins category fittings are the floor drains and catch basins used as water sewage components in plumbing system.
  • (Fire Protection) — Fire Protection group comprises fire fighting equipment, cabinets, extinguishers, and the sprinkler heads.
    • (Sprinkler Array) — The Sprinkler array group comprises sprinkler heads that are placeable in bulk in the form of array using the device array placement tool.
  • (Equipment) — The Equipment group in Plumbing discipline comprises several equipments and heating & cooling devices.
  • (LPG) — Comprises a set of Low Pressure Gas components comprises various fittings, devices and equipments necessary to design a LPG layout in your model.
