The Energy Simulator ribbon Shading tab is the primary location for modeling shapes and solids to use for Shading calculations. The Roofs tab provides tools in a tool group. The tool group contains individual tools that have related functions.

The Shading tab tools are arranged in an intuitive workflow order from left to right starting with shape and solid creation and modification tools, followed by the Create Shading and Remove Shading tools.
