You can control Heads Up Display for individual applications, projects, and workflows. These settings are available from the Preferences dialog, Heads Up Display category. There are Heads Up Display settings that are unique to each Building application, so dialog tabs are available for individual applications, and tabs are enabled as applications are installed.

The Set Heads Up Display preferences on the Architecture tab include the following settings:

• Sense Distance – The View Range is used when the view is zoomed in to the point where the distance across the view window is less than the Sense Distance. The Sense Distance is used when the view is zoomed out to the point where the distance across the view window is greater than the Sense Distance.
• Show HUD Dimensions – Turn on to display dimension lines and associated extension lines for the selected architectural object geometry.
