fitting usually a long radius type making 180° change in direction
|
BMP_RoundCoupling "Default Transition"
|
Coupling — Plumbing coupling
basically connects two pipes of different material and by controlling the main
and run diameters to connect the pipes can connect two pipes of different size.
|
BMP_Stub "Default"
|
Stub — Stub outs used to
extend pipe installed below slabs or inside walls out of the structure and into
the room and can connect the rest of your plumbing to the pipe later.
|
BMP_Tee "Default Tee"
|
Tee — T-shaped pipe fitting
having two outlets, at 90° to the connection to the main line. A tee is used
for connecting pipes of different diameters or for changing the direction of
pipe runs.
|
BMP_Transition "Default Transition"
|
Reducer — A reducer allows for
a change in pipe size to meet the flow requirements of the system, or to adapt
to existing piping of a different size.
|
BMP_TwinElbow "TwinElbow"
|
Twin Elbow — Elbow with two
ends for diverting flow of liquid in a required angles or branches bent in
desired radius.
|
BMP_Wye "Default Wye"
|
Wye — A standard wye is a "Y"
shaped fitting with three openings. A wye is used to create branch lines. It is
a type of waste fitting tee which has the side inlet pipe entering at a 45°
angle, or an angle other than 90°. Allows one pipe to be joined to another at a
45° angle.
|
BMP_FlexBellows "Flexible Bellows"
|
Flexible Bellows — A pair of
rigid boards with handles joined by flexible leather sides enclosing an
approximately airtight cavity which can be expanded and contracted by operating
the handles. Usually fitted with a valve allowing air to fill the cavity when
expanded, and with a tube through which the air is forced out in a stream when
the cavity is compressed. It has many applications, in particular blowing on a
fire to supply it with air.
|
BMP_RigidCoupling Default
|
Rigid Coupling — The
Victaulic® rigid coupling provides
rigid pipe joint designed to restrict axial or angular movement.
|
Flanges - Unions
|
BMP_FlangeBlind "Blind Flange"
|
Blind Flange — Blind flanges
do not have a bore and are used to shut off a piping system or vassal opening.
Its design permits easy access to vassal or piping system for inspection
purpose.
|
BMP_FlangeSlipOn "SlipOn Flange"
|
Slip On Flange — Slip On
flanges are slipped over the pipe and then welded from both inside and outside
to provide sufficient strength and prevent leakage.
|
BMP_FlangeWeldNeck "Weld Neck Flange"
|
Weld Neck Flange — A short cylindrical component
used to seal and reinforce the connection between a fitting and a conductor. A
flange fits around the conductor and is held in place by clamps.
Weld Neck Flanges are designed to be joined to
a piping system by butt welding
|
BMP_Gasket Gasket
|
Gasket — Gaskets are used for
sealing of flange joints, and they are not be reused.
|
BMP_UnionSA "Default"
|
Union SA — A self aligning
double spherical seats union provides a pressure tight joint without the use of
gaskets or washers.
|
BMP_MaleFemaleUnion "Default"
|
Male Female Union — A standard
union consisting of a nut, a female end, and a male end. When the female and
male ends are joined, the nuts then provide the necessary pressure to seal the
joint, acts as a reversible coupling.
|
BMP_HexagonalBush "HexagonalBush"
|
Bush/Nipple — A hexagonal
plumbing bush/nipple and octagonal nipple for use as piping couplers and join
two pipes of different diameter.
A small section of pipe of varying length used
to connect fluid components
|
BMP_Socket "Default"
|
Parallel Thread Socket —
Parallel/Taper Thread socket provides a coupling with full thread.
|
BMP_DieElectricUnion "Default"
|
Die Electric Union — These
unions are designed to be installed between pipe made from dissimilar metals to
prevent accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system due to
galvanic and stray current.
A dielectric union breaks the electric current
path with a plastic liner between two halves of the union, thus limiting
galvanic corrosion.
|
Sanitary Fittings
|
BMP_Ptrap "P-Trap With Heel"
|
P-Trap with Heel — A sink trap
formed with a bend attached with a low heel inlet usually installed under most
house sinks suitable for waste water systems.

through easily but gases, odors and rodents from the drainage and sewer system
can not pass back the other way.
|
BMP_SPtrap S-PTrap
