Insert Landing
There is flexibility with adding landings to stairs
between the required portions of a run.
To insert a landing, invoke the tool preferably in 3D view, and select the first landing point, then move along the straight run and enter next data point to finish. You can insert a landing at the start and end of a single flight of straight stairs.
Insert landing allows creation of top or bottom landings
too:
Landing should be added in same flight area and of considerable walk
length. You can add a maximum of 3 landings to a stair.
- Bottom landing: Select data point at the bottom of first step
- Top landing: Select data point at the top of last step
Stairs having handrail associated with them will reform the railing geometry that matches with the newly inserted landing in the stair.
