To Export Nurbs Surfaces
- Select .
- In the Export File dialog, ensure the Save as Type: is Autodesk(R)DWG Files (*.dwg).
- Click the Options button.
- In the Save As DWG/DXF Options dialog, click the General tab.
- Click the plus sign (+) to expand the Entity Mapping section.

Be sure that each option referring to a
Solids and Surfaces is switched to either
ACIS Entity (Body or 3D Solid) or
Region Entity rather than "Polyface Mesh" or
"Face Entity."
A file exported as DGN automatically creates nurbs surfaces.
