New and Changed in GenerativeComponents CONNECT Edition Update 9

The following sections summarize the new features and enhancements in the GenerativeComponents CONNECT Edition Update 9 release.

Pipe Node

It allows to place pipes. Pipe node has 5 specific techniques:
- ByPoints - It creates a pipe by placing two points.
- RouteByPoints - By set of points it creates Pipes and connects them with elbows.
- BranchAtPoint - Adds a branch to a Pipe.
- BranchBetweenTwoPipes - Branch is added between two parallel pipes.
- ValveAtPoint - Creates Valve on a GenerativeComponents Pipe at a specified Point on Pipe.

Parametric Cell Node

Allows to extensively reuse parametric content by placing parametric models as parametric cells. The node has the following three techniques: "ByExistingCell", "FromLibrary" and "FromLibraryList".

Parametric Variables Node

Node is used to drive the model's geometry parametrically by associating variables with dimensional constraints and element properties.

New Technique for GenerativeComponents Component Placement Nodes

OverrideProperties - This technique is implemented to Modify GenerativeComponents placement nodes which are created using techniques "ByElement", "FromElementsInRange", "SelectNodesWithinRange".
