New and Changed in GenerativeComponents CONNECT Edition Update 7
The following sections summarize the new features and enhancements in the GenerativeComponents CONNECT Edition Update 7 release.
Packager (replaces the GNT Manager)
A new Packager tool allows you manage GC packages, which are external files containing GNTs, global script functions, and global variables.
Operation Node
A new Operation node is available on the ribbon or on the GenerativeComponents node palette which provides an easy way for you to discover and perform many kinds of calculations and functions, without having to learn GenerativeComponents's expression language.
Value Node
A new Value node combines and replaces the Expression and Watch nodes (previous occurrences are updated automatically). It is used to read values from other nodes, and use them to output to other nodes after they are processed.
Global Values
A new Global Values tool that lets the user manage the script variables of the current GC session.
