RadiatorAngledValve Angled
|
Radiator Angled Valve — Used
with a steam radiator in a heating application. Angled radiator valves used to
turn on/off steam to a radiator to the central heating system. Unlike Straight
radiator valves, the Angled radiator valves incorporate a 90° bend to achieve
an 'up or down and across' flow, instead of passing the central heating water
along a 'straight' path from pipework into the radiator. Angled radiator valve
with side inlets is ideal configuration for flow through wall pipework as well
as through floor pipework
|
BMP_ValveAirVent "Air Vent"
|
Air Vent — Air Release Valve
automatically exhausts small amounts of trapped air pockets which might have
collected at system high points, while the system is flowing and under
pressure.
|
BMP_ValveDiffPressureRegulating
"DifferentialPressureControl"
|
Differential Pressure Control
Valve — DPCV is extremely efficient, works with variable speed pumps. It is set
to a maximum differential pressure which ensures flow cannot exceed a desired
rate. It therefore helps reduce energy consumption, the risk of noise and
simplifies the commissioning process.
|
BMP_ValveDiffPressureTransmitter "default"
|
Differential Pressure
Transmitter — Scalable Multi Variable Transmitter delivers unprecedented
performance and capabilities by providing superior flow calculations including
fully compensated mass or volume, energy, and totalized flow. Utilizes full
compensation in gas, natural gas, and steam measurement using the differential
pressure measurement)
|
BMP_BalanceValve "default"
|
Balance Valve — Balances and
control water systems in commercial buildings, connecting the same or disparate
pipe materials for water distribution.
|
BMP_DoubleRegulatingValve "default"
|
Double Regulating Valve — The
valve with Double Regulating Gearbox feature allows the valve to be used for
isolation and to be reopened to its preset position to maintain required flow
rate. Usually equipped with a fully-lugged butterfly valve for use with flanges
and a high temperature liner for applications in high temperature.
|
BMP_ValveAngled Angled
|
Angled Valve — A manually
operated valve with its outlet opening oriented at right angles to its inlet
opening; designed for throttling or regulating flow of a fluid in a pipe. A
valve for controlling the flow of a liquid or air; the fluid leaves at right
angles to the direction in which it enters the valve.
In the case of angle valves, the outlet pipe is
directed towards the bottom. This allows the fluid to drain off.
|
BMP_ValveAngledRelief "Angled Relief"
|
Angled Relief Valve — The
relief valve (RV) is a type of valve used to control or limit the pressure in a
system or vessel which can build up by a process upset, instrument or equipment
failure, or fire.
|
BMP_ValveBall "Ball Valve"
|
Ball Valve — The valve is a
form of quarter-turn that uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball, seal
against the seat to control flow through it. It is open when the ball's hole is
in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90° by the valve handle.
|
BMP_ValveButterfly "Butterfly Valve"
|
Butterfly Valve — A butterfly
valve is used for isolating or regulating flow. The closing mechanism takes the
form of a disk. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe, passing
through the disc is a rod connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve.
Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the
flow. Unlike a ball valve, the disc is always present within the flow,
therefore a pressure drop is always induced in the flow, regardless of valve
position.
|
BMP_ValveFour Way "FourWay Valve"
|
Four Way Valve — The four-way
fluid control valve whose body has four ports equally spaced round the valve
chamber and the plug has two passages to connect adjacent ports. The plug may
be cylindrical or tapered, or a ball.
|
BMP_ValveGate "Gate Valve"
|
Gate Valve — The gate valve,
opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the
fluid. The distinct feature of a gate valve is the sealing surfaces between the
gate and seats are planar, so gate valves are often used when a straight-line
flow of fluid and minimum restriction is desired. The gate faces can form a
wedge shape or they can be parallel.
|
BMP_ValveMotorised_2Way "default"
|
Motorized Valve - 2 Way —
Hysteresis synchronous motor controlled 2-way valve is used for FCU (fan coil
unit) and various heating/cooling applications.
|
BMP_ValveMotorised_3Way "default"
|
Motorized Valve - 3 Way —
Three way motorized control valve has an opening at the top for performing easy
trim inspection without disturbing insulation or pipe connections. Actuator
mounts directly onto valve without linkage.
|
BMP_ValveMotorised_3Way_withBypass "default"
|
Motorized Valve - 3 Way with
Bypass — The motorized three-way bypass valves permits a system to operate with
a continuous flow regardless if the zone valve is in the open or in the bypass
position.
|
BMP_ValveMotorizedButterfly "default"
|
Motorized Butterfly Valve —
Actuated Wafer Type Butterfly Valve equipped with standard On-Off or modulating
control quarter-turn electric actuator, is suitable for heating and cooling
applications. Motor operated butterfly valve with trigger lever suitably used
with flanges. It can also provide feedback output signal.
|
BMP_ValveMotorizedControl "default"
|
Motorized Control Valve —
Motorized control valves used to regulate the flow of fluids Precise regulation
of flow rate through the valve is determined by the angular resolution of the
motor and controlled with electrical actuator mounted on the valve.
|
BMP_ValveNonReturn "default"
|
Non Return Valve — Flanged
valve, NRV acts as an anti flooding device for use in horizontal pipes.
Normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction,
and prevents the reverse flow of fluid in case of failure or sudden shutdown of
piping system.
|
BMP_ValveNRV "Check Valve"
|
Check Valve — Check valves
are two-port valves that normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through
it in only one direction.
An important concept in check valves is the
cracking pressure which is the minimum upstream pressure at which the valve
will operate.
|
BMP_ValvePilotRelief "Pilot Relief"
|
Pilot Operated Relief Valve —
The pilot operated relief valves (PORV) are used for emergency relief during
overpressure events (e.g., a tank gets too hot and the expanding fluid
increases the pressure to dangerous levels). In PORV the pilot valves (or
control pilot) use system pressure to seal the valve, whereas the PRV typically
uses a spring to hold the disc or piston on seat.
|
BMP_ValvePressureDifferential "default"
|
Pressure Differential Valve —
A Direct acting pressure reducing valve that works based on the difference
between two levels of pressure. During operation, valves often experience
different pressure levels downstream and upstream.
|
BMP_ValvePressureRegulating "PressureRegulating"
|
Pressure Regulating Valve —
Pressure Reducing Valve is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated control
valve that reduces higher upstream pressure to lower constant downstream
pressure regardless of fluctuating demand or varying upstream pressure.
Pressure regulator valve automatically cuts off the flow of a liquid or gas at
a certain pressure.
Can be set to direct acting with screw or cap
and pilot operated.
|
BMP_ValveStraight "Generic Straight"
|
Generic Straight Valve —
Straight valves are designed so that the outlet pipe is in line with the inlet
pipe and the fluid has a good chance of staying there in the case of horizontal
piping.
|
BMP_ValveStraightRelief "Straight Relief"
|
Straight Relief Valve — For
use as back pressure valve, straight relief, by-pass relief or back pressure
regulator.
|
BMP_ValveSwingCheck "default"
|
Swing Check Valve — Swing type
check valve permits flow in one direction only, and close automatically if flow
reverses. It is entirely automatic in action, depending upon pressure and
velocity of flow within the line to perform its functions of opening and
closing.
|
BMP_ValveThreeWay "ThreeWay Valve"
|
Three Way Valve — A 3-way
valve has 3 ports; it connects one port to either of the two other ports
(typically a supply port and an exhaust port).
