EnergyPlus error ouput:
|
Contains a listing of all warnings and errors that
occurred during the simulation.
- Program Version —
The first line of the error report shows the current version of EnergyPlus and
the version of the EnergyPlus Input Data Dictionary file (*.idd) that was used
in the simulation. The idd file is a listing of every available simulation
input. If an input is not listed in the idd file, then it is not processed.
- Error Level — The
following table illustrates the three levels of errors that occur in the Error
report tab Note: If an error line begins with

- Errors examples —
Some errors you may encounter are:
- Schedule not
found – Objects that have schedules in their fields must have a schedule
inputted. To leave it blank results in a severe error that terminates the
simulation run.
- Schedule
[Schedule name] has missing days – Schedule periods in Simulation must fill an
entire year period. If a full year is not specified, the error is issued.
- Zone name in
[internal gain] statement not found – If a statement specifies a zone name as
part of its field, it cannot be left blank.
