Window recess
The Room Type Manager Window recess panel contains controls used to define recesses around windows for rooms of the selected room type. The recesses defined here represent the distances between the edges of the window surface to the actual glazing of the window, typically due to the window framing.
Note: Window recess data
on subsequently created rooms of the selected room type can be edited
individually using the corresponding window recess controls found on the
Properties For: Window
dialog box or globally using the controls found on the
Global Changes
dialog box’s Windows data panel. Detailed window recesses and
reveals are defined for OpenBuildings Designer at the application level in the Default
Manager dialog box’s
Window frames and reveals
panel.
