Toggle Auto Annotations
Refreshes annotations on drawings
and sheets when they are initially created, opened, or referenced. When on, the
utility runs automatically. When off, the utility runs only when you select the
( Refresh
Automatic Annotations
) tool.
Note: Available if the
BB_AUTOANNOTATION is set to USER
(default), and can be toggled between "on" and "off" with this tool. When on,
the Auto Annotation runs automatically. When the configuration variable
BB_AUTOANNOTATION is set to MANUAL, you
must select the Refresh Automatic Annotations tool to run the utility.
The auto annotation process utilizes the Visibility Calculator to annotate only those elements in a dynamic view that are visible. This process entails some nontrivial processing time. In this event, you can turn off auto annotations by toggling auto annotation (the default is on). The BB_AUTOANNOTATION and BB_AUTOANNOTATION_ONCREATE configuration variable further manage the auto annotation process.
