To create a space by flooding a region

  1. Select ( Create Space ). The Create Space dialog opens.

The contextual Placement > Place ribbon tab opens.

  2. On the Placement Options tab, select Place By: Flood Area. The Placement ribbon tab now will have additional Flood Options settings.

Click to toggle the applicable flood settings: Associative, To Wall Center, Overlap, Ignore Selection; and to set minimum recognizable hole, set the Minimum Hole Size.

  3. Select the view by clicking in the active view. Enter first point, followed by next data point(s) in the view that creates appropriate shape.
