Extrude Shape to Slab Form

Used to create a slab-shaped projection from a three or four sided shape.

SettingDescription
Angles

Top Angles — Sets the angle between the highest face and the ground plane,

Other Angles — Sets the side face angle relative to the ground plane,

Bottom Angles — Sets the angle that the lowest face makes with respect to the ground plane.

The Options are:
  • Angle — Specifies the number in degrees of the angle between the base shape and the face of the form.
    • Entering 0.00 results in a face perpendicular to the shape’s base;
    • a negative value produces an angle greater than 90 degrees;
    • a positive value produces an angle less than 90 degrees.
  • Horizontal — The face is parallel to the global XY plane.

    If you select Horizontal for a face that cannot be horizontal, the face is constructed vertically.

  • Vertical — The face of the form is perpendicular to the global XY plane.

    If you select Vertical for a face that cannot be vertical, the face is constructed horizontally.

Thickness Specifies the thickness of the extruded slab.
Tolerance Controls how many segments comprise a curve: Increasing the value creates fewer segments; decreasing the value creates more segments.
Reverse Reverses the direction of extrusion.
Delete Constructions

If on, the element from which the form is extruded is deleted.
