Setting Autofitting Preferences
One of the alternate methods to change the automatically
placement behavior, say for elbows is possible with the
Autofitting Preferences. The Autofitting Preferences dialog
is used to define settings such as radius, throat lengths and elbow segments,
transition angles, and use of a particular take-offs, tees and crosses for
branch lines etc. The standard placement settings are stored in an XML
(Autofittingoptions.xml) file and applied as auto fittings
preferences in placement.
When routing a duct, by changing direction, the autofitting component –e.g. a tee or a cross, gets placed to the branching in the direction of selected justification in placement.
