Map Custom Building Designer Dataset to IFC Dataset dialog

Used to map a Family, single or multiple Parts to an IFC Entity for elements that do not have DataGroup data attached as a secondary mapping. Opens when the IFC Mapping Information button is pressed in the IFC Export .

This dialog contains list boxes – Part/Family List, IFC Entities, Mapped Entities – to manage parts, families, IFC entities and mapped properties. The part and family section is updated by the active project dataset. The IFC entities section contains the names of all supported IFC entities. The mapped properties section contains the names of the all parts and families that are currently mapped to corresponding IFC entities.

Upon selecting part and family properties and IFC entities in the appropriate corresponding list box sections, you map the part and family properties to IFC entities by pressing Add Similarly, mapped properties are deleted by pressing Delete after they have been selected.

Mapped properties are saved in a tab-separated file named ifcmapping.set. The location of this file is managed by the TFDIR_SETTING configuration variable. Mapping information is loaded and saved to the settings file using the dialog Load and Save buttons.

Setting	Description
Part - Family list box	Displays parts and families for the active project dataset.
IFC Entities list box	Displays IFC entities for the active IFC converter.
Mapped Entities list box	Displays actively mapped parts and families to IFC entities.
Refresh	Refreshes the Mapped Entities list box after mapped properties are added or deleted.
Load	Loads mapped information to the settings file.
Save	Saves mapped information to the settings file.
Add	Adds mapped properties (parts and families to IFC entities) to the Mapped Entities list box, after they are actively selected in the appropriate list boxes.
Delete	Deletes actively selected mapped entities from the Mapped Entities list box.
Clear	Clears or deletes all mapped entities from the Mapped Entities list box.
