To Create a Named Group with the Add to Graphic Group Tool

Use the Element Selection tool to select the element(s) to be included in the named group.
Select the Add to Graphic Group tool (Drawing > Home > Groups > Graphic Groups split button).
Click the Create New Named Group icon.

The Create Named Group dialog opens.
In the Name field, key in a name for the new named group.
(Optional) In the Description field, key in a description for the new named group.
(Optional) Turn on Select all members when any member selected.
This turns on Selectable for the named group.
Click OK.
