To create a space by drawing a boundary

Select
(
Create Space ).
The
Create Space dialog opens.
The contextual
ribbon tab opens. -
On the Placement Options tab, select Place By:
Draw Shape.
Enter first point, followed by next data point(s) in the view
that creates appropriate shape.
- (Optional) For drawing regular shape, you may select the Place By: Draw Rectangle | Draw Circle | Draw Ellipse Enter a data point for the first point of the space. This identifies the first point of a rectangle, the first and subsequent vertices of a multi-point shape, and the center of round and elliptical shapes.

Enter a data point for the last base point of the space.
This identifies opposite corners for rectangles, and edges for round and elliptical shapes.
- Right click to reset. The space shape is created.
