Building MDL Applications
The MDL Applications dialog is used to load, unload, and monitor the sizes and memory use of "MicroStation Development Libraries" (MDL) applications including MDL applications required by OpenBuildings Designer.

OpenBuildings Designer relies on this utility to load its MDL applications. There are OpenBuildings Designer tools and utilities are purposely unloaded by default to increase application performance. Instead, they are loaded into your session only when you access them via the menu or their tool icons.
Tip: Key-ins listed in the Help for tools and utilities associated with MDL applications not loaded by default will not start those tools or utilities if they are keyed in before accessing them from the menu or via tool icons. Using the controls provided on the MDL dialog. select or browse to the MDL application you need to load and click Load.
