To elevate a point

Click the Elevate Point icon.
The Elevate tool settings window appears.
Do one of the following:

Set the elevate method to From roof level.

or
Set the elevate method to Change height.

or
Set the elevate method to Slope angle.

or
Set the elevate method to Pitch.
Do one of the following:

Enter a value in the Height field (for the From roof level and Change height methods).

or
Enter an value in the Angle field (for the Slope angle method).

or
Enter a value in the Pitch field (for the Pitch method).
Select the roof section point you want to elevate.
Enter another data point to complete.

Note: The elevated point in the roof illustrated above was fully constrained, meaning there was no freedom of movement about the point for which you would have to select a hinging edge.
