Bentley Structure Property Catalog Client is set of managed .NET classes. This class library has been designed to serve following purposes:

• To provide published material & cross-section information for all possible region and standards
• To calculated cross-section property in case the information is not published
• To create & calculate properties of cross-section of any known geometry such as “I”, “L”, “Pipe” shape etc
• To create & calculate properties of cross-section of any arbitrary shape including thin walled cross-sections
• To create & calculate properties of compound & composite shapes
• Interoperability

Bentley Structure Property Catalog Client also provides API’s to establish a reliable connection to Bentley Structure Property Catalog Server. An API user does not need to create connections. This API also ensures forward and backward compatibility.
