Tee Properties

Property Name Description
Angle Positive <angle value>
  • Sets side branch angle.
Branch 1 | Height Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets distance between main branch center line to the end of saddle. Automatically set by application.
Branch Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets side branch center line length up to connect point. The application limits values to prevent illogical geometry.
Branch Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets side branch lateral distance from End1.
Branch 2 | Radius

(for Drop Cheek fittings )

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End2.
Branch 3 | Radius

(for Drop Cheek fittings)

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End3.
Branch 2 | Depth Offset

(for Drop Cheek fittings)

  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End2.
Branch 3 | Depth Offset

  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End3.
Center To Top Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets distance between main branch center line to the saddle connect point.
Cone Angle <angle value>
  • Sets the side branch angle of taper as it blends into the main branch.The application limits values to prevent illogical geometry.

  • Sets straight length at End Spec1 for rectangular shapes.
  • Sets straight length between End1 and End2 connections for round and oval shapes.

  • Sets the distance from the main branches' (End1 and End2) center line to the side branch's (End3) connect point.

  • Sets and sizes end with a flange connection.
m -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a male connection.
fe -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a female connection.
Separate End Type entries for each End Spec with a semi colon.

Example: fl-2;fe-.13 creates a flange at End1 with size 2, and a female connection at End2 with an overall reduction of component's dimensions of .13

Inset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between End1 connect point and intersection with the saddle branch.
Inlet to Branch Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets the center line distance between End1 connect point and side branch (End3) start point.
The application adjusts L property when X11 is large, and restricts small values for X11 to ensure logical fitting.
Radius Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets side branch inner radius.
Radius 1 (R1) <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets radius between End1 and End3.
Radius 2 (R2) <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets radius between End2 and End3.
Reducer Length <numeric value>
  • Automatically set by the application.
Rise <numeric value>
  • Sets saddle (End3) offset distance from front of fitting. Limited by Off set Options property.
Rise Left <numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical saddle (End3) offset distance from left (End1) of the tee.
Rise Right <numeric value>
  • Sets vertical saddle (End3) offset distance from right (End2) of the tee.
Rise Value <numeric value>
  • Sets top offset between End1 and End2.
Run <numeric value>
  • Sets saddle (End3) offset distance from left side of fitting. Limited by Off set Options property.
Run Left <numeric value>
  • Sets lateral saddle (End3) offset distance from left (End2) of the tee.
Run Right <numeric value>
  • Sets lateral saddle (End3) offset distance from left (End1) of the tee.
Saddle Length <numeric value>
  • Sets saddle length where it meets the main fitting tube.
Standard Angle <angle value> between 5° and 90°
  • Closest catalog match for angle property. Set by Manufacturer Catalogs.
Straight Left <numeric value>
  • Sets the main branch (at end1) length of tee along bottom side.
Straight Left Bottom <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch length of tee at left side down along end3.
Straight Left Top <numeric value>
  • Sets the main branch (at end1) length of te along top side.
Straight Right <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch2 length of tee of along bottom side.
Straight Right Bottom <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch length of tee at right side down along end3.
Straight Right Top <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch (at end2) length of tee along top side.
Offset Options <null value>
  • Frees fitting from any symmetry constraints.

  • Face is offset by an angle value.
a< <angle value>
  • Changes the default minimum angle check of 5° to the New Value.

  • Bottom is flat.
b <numeric value>
  • Bottom is offset by value.
ba <angle value>
  • Bottom is offset by an angle.

Combined entries are separated by forward slashes. Entries are honored in order from left to right. Angle value range is – 85° to + 85° unless a<xx° is encountered.

Offset Options(For Drop Cheek fittings)

  • Frees top saddle from any symmetry constraints.

  • Sets symmetry of top saddle blend towards main body.
Tee Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets main tube length between End1 and End2 connect points. Cannot be smaller than Saddle Length property.
Total Length (L) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets overall length of fitting.
