During the Upgrade of the product, the following options can be selected for each installed dataset.

• Upgrade with Backup - Creates a backup of the existing dataset, then adds new files and updates files that have changed.
• No Action - Does not change the existing dataset.
• Fresh Install with Backup - Creates a backup of the existing dataset, then installs a new, clean dataset
• Fresh Install- Deletes the existing dataset, then installs a new, clean dataset.

During uninstallation of the product, the following options can be selected for each installed dataset.

• Uninstall with Backup - Backup is created for dataset and Workset.
• Uninstall - Uninstalls the dataset without Backup.

Double-click the OpenBuildings Designer setup executable which opens Installation wizard . Select Modify option from install page. Or from the Windows Add/Remove Programs, right-click OpenBuildings Designer and select Change which also opens Installation wizard

If an existing dataset is Deselected then following options are displayed.

• Modify with Backup - Backup is created for Dataset and Workset.
• Modify Existing - Uninstalls the dataset without Backup.

Double-click the OpenBuildings Designer setup executable which opens Installation wizard . Select Repair option from install page. The following options are displayed for each installed dataset.

• Fresh Install with Backup - Backup is created for existing dataset and Workset. Then it installs fresh version of selected dataset
• Fresh Install - Backup is not created. It only installs fresh version of selected dataset
