Add vertical fins to an exposed wall

Click the Add Fin icon.
The Add fin tool settings window appears.
Select a vertical fin type from the Fins drop-down list.
In the Add fin tool settings, the read only label below the Fins drop-down list is changed to Vertical, and the Height option is enabled. This confirms the selected fin is of a vertical type.
Un-check the Confine fin to surface extents option to remove restrictions on the location and length of the fins being placed.
Enter values for the Horizontal distance from surface, Vertical distance from surface head, and Height options.

Note: The height option determines the vertical height or length of the fin blades.
Follow the prompts. Repeat the steps from the horizontal fins procedure above except now you can extend the length of the fins beyond the wall extents.
