Standard Sizes dialog

Used to select from a list of standard sized HVAC transition fittings.

To open the Standard Sizes dialog, position the pointer in the value field of the Offset Options property in the DataGroup Instance Data panel, and select the Standard Lengths from the pull-down list options.

The Standard Sizes dialog - View mode

Standard Size rounds the total length of the transition fitting by solving the length (for the L property) based on the Offset Options property constraints. If Offset Option is set to a<value, the total derived length is rounded to the higher standard size found in the standard sizes list.

The dialog has two modes: The View mode (default) and the Detail mode. The detail mode also enables the child dialog Add/Modify Entry.

Setting	Description
View mode	Size — Displays standard lengths. The closest value to the selected component's L property is highlighted. Click in the value field and select the value from pull-down list to apply. Modify — Opens Modify Standard Sizes dialog. Acts as a toggle to switch between the two dialog modes. OK — Applies the selected standard length to the active component, and saves settings when an entry is added or modified.
Detail mode	Used to modify the list view contents. The Detail mode Entries table — Displays the current list structure. Each row represents single or multiple list entries. Columns show list details. Entry Type – Single, range or increment. Value – Displays single values or the starting values. ...To Value – Displays ending value or blank if the type is single. Increments – Displays range increments. Add — Used to add new list entries. Opens the Add/Modify Entry dialog. Type – Select the type of list. Fixed – A single item is added to the list view. Range – List entries have a start and end value. Incremental – List entries begin with a value and continue indefinitely. Value – Keyed in values are either fixed list entries or starting values for ranges of values. ...To Value – Keyed in value is the end of a range. Increments – Keyed in value is added to the beginning value and each subsequent value. OK – Applies changes and closes the dialog. Modify— Opens the list definition in Add/Modify Entry dialog. Remove — Deletes the selected list definition. OK — Applies changes to Standard Sizes. Appends the changes in the standard length list. Note: When an incremental list type is defined, the ...To Value contains an asterisk character indicating the list is infinite.

- Entry Type – Single, range or increment.
- Value – Displays single values or the starting values.
- ...To Value – Displays ending value or blank if the type is single.
- Increments – Displays range increments.
Add — Used to add new list entries. Opens the Add/Modify Entry dialog.
- Type – Select the type of list.
  - Fixed – A single item is added to the list view.
  - Range – List entries have a start and end value.
  - Incremental – List entries begin with a value and continue indefinitely.
- Value – Keyed in values are either fixed list entries or starting values for ranges of values.
- ...To Value – Keyed in value is the end of a range.
- Increments – Keyed in value is added to the beginning value and each subsequent value.
- OK – Applies changes and closes the dialog.
