The Edit Vanes dialog is a context
sensitive option that is used to manipulate vane characteristics in HVAC
rectangular elbows. To activate the context menu option, position the pointer
in the value field of the
Vane Length /
Radius property in the DataGroup Instance Data panel, and
select the
Edit VaneSize from the pull-down list options.
The
Edit Vanes
dialog opens.
The appearance of the dialog changes depending upon the value of the Select
Option setting.
Individual
Size
Note: Additional options
may appear in the option menu depending upon which component is being placed or
modified.

Sets vane sizes for all vanes based on fitting radius dimension.

Sets all vanes to an equal size.
The following field populates:
- Vane Radius / Length
— Key in a value for vane size a numeric value.

Sets vane size for individual vanes.
The following fields populate:
- Vane Index — Key in
the vane index number. Vane number
one corresponds with vane closest to the
elbow's outer radius.
- Vane Radius /
Length— Key in a value for vane size a numeric value.
Tip: While the cursor is in the value
field your can increment / decrement the value by one using the arrow pointers
in the field.
