Creating a Combination Horizontal Brace

To use this Substation Gallery tool to create a connection, follow this procedure.

Supporting shapes for a Substation Gallery object are limited to pipes and square, rectangular, or circular hollow shapes.

Select from the Substation Gallery.

The Combination Horizontal Brace dialog opens.
To identify the Combination Horizontal Brace location, do the following in sequence:
1. Select the supporting leg member.
2. Select the horizontal brace member.
3. Select the connecting shape member.
Tip: Connecting shapes and braces must be equal or unequal leg angle shapes.
Either:
- Specify the connection parameters.
- Load a Template.
Optional: If you loaded a template, you may modify the parameters as necessary.
Click OK.

Note: The plates are grouped with the supporting shape.
