Creating Truss Connections

To use this Substation Gallery tool to create a connection, follow this procedure.

Restriction: Single, Double and Triple brace connection templates must be pre-created and available prior to using this tool.

Select from the Substation Gallery.

The Truss Connector dialog opens.
Select one or more triangular or rectangular trusses.
Either:
- Assign connection templates.
- Load a Template.
Tip: To skip the creation of any specific connection, simply delete the template name from corresponding field.
Optional: If you loaded a template, you may modify the parameters as necessary.
Click OK.

Tip: After brace connections are created they can only be edited individually following the instruction in the single, double, and triple brace connection help. Similarly, to delete brace connections refer to their corresponding help instructions.
