Creating a Trestle

To use this Substation Gallery tool to create a connection, follow this procedure.

Both legs and horiztonal braces for a trestle are limited to pipes and square, rectangular, or circular hollow shapes. Horizontal braces to back leg are limited to equal leg angles.

  1. Select from the Substation Gallery.

    The Trestle dialog opens.

  2. Specify an insertion point and direction to orient the frame.
  3. Either:
    • Specify the connection parameters.
    • Load a Template.
  4. Optional: If you loaded a template, you may modify the parameters as necessary.
  5. Click OK.
