Creating a Truss Support

To use this Substation Gallery tool to create a connection, follow this procedure.

Restriction: Supporting members are limited to polyplates while connecting members are lmited to pipes and square, rectangular, and circular hollow shapes.

Select from the Substation Gallery.

The Truss Support Designer Module dialog opens.
Select the supporting plate object.
Select a connecting pipe or hollow shape.
Either:
- Specify the connection parameters.
- Load a Template.
Optional: If you loaded a template, you may modify the parameters as necessary.
Click OK.
