Field Splice dialog
Opens when the Splices tool is selected on the Libraries group in the Utilities tab. Schematic drawings of the field splice with highlighted numbers indicating corresponding input fields are provided to aid in user input.
| Setting | Description |
| Add | Used to add a new Splice to the library. |
| Remove | Used to remove the currently selected splice from the list in the library. |
| Copy | Used to create a copy of the selected splice. |

| Setting | Description |
| Top Clearance | Distance value between top flange inside and top of web splice plate. |
| Horizontal Edge | Enter the distance from the last vertical row of bolts to the plate edge. |
| CrossOver | Horizontal crossover distance. Enter the distance between the first vertical bolt columns on the left section and the first bolt column on the right section. |
| Column Spacing | Enter the spacing between vertical bolt columns. |
| Vertical Edge | Enter the distance between last top/bottom row of bolts and the edge of the web splice plate. |
| Row Spacing | Enter the spacing between horizontal rows. |
| Plate Thickness | Enter the plate thickness to be used for the web splice plate. |
| Plate Height | Computed plate height. |
| Plate Length | Computed plate length. |
| Flip Direction | Flips (all) with the bolt head oriented on the left. Default option to the right. |
| Bolts - Rows | This is the number of bolts in each vertical column |
| Bolts - Columns | This is the number of bolts in each horizontal row on each side of the splice plate. |
Top Flange
| Setting | Description |
| Plate Outside Thickness | Enter the thickness of the outside splice plate. |
| Plate Inside Thickness | Enter the thickness of the inside splice plates. |
| Plate Inside Width | Enter the width of each of the inner splice plates. |
