Add Bridge Unit tool

Used to add a new bridge unit. The new unit will be the active unit.

Found on the Home ribbon tab in the Bridge Setup group.

Tool Settings

Setting Description
Name Type a name for the unit. The string “Unit” is automatically incremented in the current model as a default.
Description Optional description of the unit.
Bridge Type group
Setting Description
Bridge Type Select the type of bridge from the drop-down list:
  • Beam Slab (P/S or RC Concrete Girders)
  • Beam Slab (Steel Girders)
  • RC Slab
  • CIP Concrete Box
  • Segmental
Location Select if the new unit is added to the Start or End of an existing unit.
