Set Active Profile

You can access this tool from the following:

  • Ribbon: Geometry > General Tools > Design Elements
  • Ribbon: Geometry > Vertical > Set Active Profile

Use the Set Active Profile tool to designate which of potentially several profile elements will drive the 3D model. The result is the creation of a 3D spline in the 3D model representing the combination of the Horizontal alignment plus the Design profile.

  1. Click the Set Active Profile icon.

  2. In a profile view, select the profile element to be designated as design profile.
