Copy Element

Used to create a new instance of visible geometry only.

You can access this tool from the following:



  • Ribbon: Civil > Horizontal > Modify split button

The Copy Element tool creates a new instance of visible geometry only. It removes all intervals / rules. To rule the elements, use the Create Civil Rule Feature tool. Note it also copies the vertical geometry elements as well.

Workflow

  1. Select the tool and follow the heads-up prompts.

  2. Select the first element to copy.

  3. Continue selecting, then reset to end selecting process.

  4. Data point to accept selected elements to copy.
