Creating an elevation flag

Select
(Elevation
Flags).
The Elevationflags dialog opens.
- Set the styles and other flag parameters as desired.

While in Insert tab, click the button corresponding to the global
direction of measurement:
Button Description
Distance is along the Z-direction
Distance is along the X-direction
Distance is along the Y-direction The icons represent the desired measurement and the elevation.The dialog closes, momentarily.

In the drawing view select the definition point (dimension point)
for the elevation.
Note: Once selected, the
Orthois activated automatically. The elevation flag must lie in the same orthogonal plane as the selected definition point. -
Select the position point for the elevation.
Note: If
Orthowas not activated previously, then it is once again turned off. -
Select a position for the dimension text.
Right click reopens the Elevationflags dialog.
