Beam Column Flange Connection - Support Holes tab

Used to set support holes along web and flanges.


Setting Description
Support Flange / Web Defines the number, distance and orientation of the holes on the flange or web of the Support shape.
  • Horizontal Count ? Sets the number of the holes in the direction of Y-Axis of the support shape. Default is 2.
  • Horizontal Distance ? Sets the distance between the end edge of the flange of the connect shape and the center of the first hole along the Y-Axis of the support shape. Default is 40 or 1.6 depending of the units setting.
  • Vertical Count ? Sets the number of the holes in the direction of Support shape. Default is 3.
  • Vertical Distance ? Sets the distance between two adjacent holes along the direction of Support shape. Default is 40 or 1.6 depending of the units setting.
T-Shape Support Flange Defines the distance and location of the holes in the flanges of the Support shape when T-Shape is selected as Support type.
  • Horizontal Edge ? Sets the distance between the edge of the flange of the connect shape and the center of the first hole along the Y-Axis of the support shape. It is only valid when the T-Shape is selected as Support type. Default is 40 or 1.6 depending of the units setting.
  • Vertical Distance ? Sets the distance between two holes a`long the direction of Support shape. It is only valid when the T-Shape is selected as Support type. Default is 100 or 4 depending of the units setting.
