Joists - Shapes tab

Note: Depending on the offset you selected only certain shape types and shape classes are available.

Setting	Description
Shape position	Sets the part of truss the shape selection settings be applied. The position options are: Top chord, Bottom chord, Diagonal, Vertical, Upper bearing shape, or Lower bearing shape.
Shape type	Sets the shape type for truss part. The type of shapes lists all shapes for a given type of chords set in shape position.
Shape class	Sets the class or catalogue of the selected shape.
Shape size	Sets the shape size of the selected truss part.
Layout	Sets how to display the truss shape. No display ? used when the inner structure of the joist is not important to be displayed. Simplified display ? used when you want to have it displayed nevertheless, but you don?t want to have displayed the individual objects. In this mode, the shapes are displayed as part of the structural element. No display ? used when you want to have displayed all details and you want to change some shapes. Note: The settings don?t have any influence on the display of the seats.
