To add parametric stairs

To add a parametric stair case to your model, use the following steps.

  1. Select (Stairs).
    • Key-in ProSteel Place Stairs
    • Type PS_STAIRS in the command line and press Enter.
  2. Select the lower landing point of the stairs.
    This point is the center lower portion of the stair.
  3. Select the a second point to define the direction of the stairs.
    The initial stairs are placed in the model and the Stair dialog opens.
  4. Complete all of the parametric information on the Stair dialog.
    Leave the Dynamic option on the Dimensions tab checked to see a live preview of the stair in the model before accepting.
  5. Click .
    The dialog closes and the stairs are updated in the model using the specified parameters.
