Handrail - Common tab

Setting Description
Layout Determines whether the handrail has to be carried out as parametric construction or with user-defined cells.
  • Parametric ? for parametric construction, further settings are carried out in the Dimensions section.
  • With cells ? for cells, further settings are available in the Cells section.
Dynamic When checked, automatically updates the modified settings of the handrail in the view. A modification of the polyline smartline has immediate effects, too.
Draw diagonal When checked, draws an auxiliary diagonal of the actual structural element in the different segments to facilitate its selection.
No auto update When checked, the changed settings don't instantly react the handrail geometry. You can manually release the update of the handrail by pressing a button.
Group status Determines whether another parent group has to be formed out of all handrail components (including their inner group structure).?
Options available are:
  • Don't group ? No Group
  • Create groups ? Component Part Group
  • Create assemblies ? Assembly
Group name Designates the name of the parent group.
